I love how St. Patrick’s Day gives me an excuse to indulge my sweet tooth. While everyone else celebrates with endless pints of beer, I do my part by eating something decadent!
So today I’ve been indulging on a thick and creamy mint-flavoured milkshake that looks as pretty as it tastes with its festive pastel green hue. Plus, it’s dead easy to make, which works well just in case you get a sugar craving tonight but have already downed a Guinness or two. Just make sure that blender lid is on nice and tight!
To make one shake, you’ll need:
1 scoop of premium vanilla ice cream
1 cup of whole milk
1 tablespoon creme de menthe syrup (or more to taste)
Chocolate syrup or shavings
Blend the ice cream, milk and creme de menthe syrup together until thick and creamy. Pour the shake into a glass and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate syrup or shavings.
